Johnny Sim

A fictional story based on a real-life event. This project is rooted on a feeling I had when a friend from my childhood that I haven't seen in years, told me that I didn't look Cambodian. He was joking of course, but I couldn't help but think of those who died for a mere difference in complexion during the Khmer Rouge, and how I belonged on that checklist were I to be alive in that time period.
